This year Kathina Ceremony will be held on 07th November at the Hamilton Vihara, (WCMC), 436D, Holland Road, RD6, Eureka, Hamilton 3286.
The Kathina Cheevara Puja Ceremony is a very special ceremony in the Buddhist calendar. That can only be held once a year by a temple. This year Katina Ceremony limited to the five sponsoring families while following all the Delta Alert Level protocols.
We are organizing an Atavisi Buddha Puja Pinkama on Saturday the 04th September at 6.00 pm at Hillcrest Normal School Hall.
Hamilton Vihara will be holding a Sil and Mindfulness program for youth and children on Sunday 13th June from 9.00am to 1.00 pm.

Upgrading the entranceway and driveway project of Hamilton Vihara (WCMC) was completed successfully. We like to express our sincere gratitude for your kind and very generous donations to complete the project.
As customarily cutting and sewing the robe will take place on Sunday 26th of September. Although at alert level 2, we can accommodate up to 100 people, considering the pandemic situation and everyone's health and safety, we decided that only a few people can be accommodated within a 1-meter distance.
